Speaking is faster
than typing.

Documentation ties up time that is missing in patient care. With ProDictate your people dictate straight into the application, speech recognition writes at the cursor, and the result goes through HL7 into the responsible specialist system.

The challenge

Dictating is easy.
Handing over into the record is the task.

A voice recording alone is not yet a dictation process. The effort lies in getting the text to the right place, in the right file, without a second pass.

01

At the cursor, not in a folder

Speech recognition writes where the cursor sits, which means straight into the specialist system. No export, no copying, no interim storage.

02

The buttons on the microphone matter

Record, pause and insert are operated on the device, not on screen. For that the USB commands have to arrive, in a virtualised session as well.

03

The path into the file

The dictation goes to the HIS or practice system through HL7. Assignment to case and patient happens automatically, not through a file name.

04

Staying low maintenance

One client component, one server module, central updates. Otherwise a dictation solution costs more support than it saves in documentation time.

What is included

Dictation, speech recognition
and complementary modules.

ProDictate ProDictate Online ProDictate Mobile ProPlayer ProRecorder ProReport VC Framework

03

Mobile dictation

ProDictate Mobile records on the move and hands over to the server as soon as there is a connection again.

04

Playback and typing

ProPlayer for the typing pool, with foot pedal control and the familiar way of working.

05

Recording and analysis

ProRecorder for dedicated recording stations, ProReport for analysis of volume and turnaround.

06

Link to the specialist system

HL7 interface to HIS and practice systems, user synchronisation through Active Directory or Entra ID.

Requirements & rollout

Test first,
then roll out.

The usual entry point is a test environment with two or three workplaces from one department. Users from the department can quickly assess whether the solution fits their workflow.
