HPE Juniper Networking.
Firewall, switching, Wi-Fi.
HPE Juniper Networking (formerly Juniper Networks, now part of Hewlett Packard Enterprise) is the networking technology we build corporate networks with: Juniper SRX as the firewall, Juniper EX for switching and Juniper Mist for Wi-Fi with AI-driven operations. We advise, supply, set up and operate, with one contact from planning to operations.
Three families,
one operating system.
Juniper SRX: firewall and VPN
The SRX series is the firewall for sites and data centres: application awareness, intrusion prevention, content filtering, site-to-site VPN and secure remote access. We choose the model by throughput, sites and protection needs.
Juniper EX: switching
EX switches for floor, access and core, with Power over Ethernet for access points, phones and cameras, Virtual Chassis for combining several devices and clean segmentation. Every port is documented.
Juniper Mist: Wi-Fi and AI-driven operations
Mist access points are managed centrally through the Mist cloud. The AI features detect radio issues, interference and login failures before users report them and simplify operations across several sites.
Junos: one operating system for everything
SRX, EX and other Juniper devices run Junos. One configuration logic, one update procedure, one automation. That reduces errors and onboarding effort in operations.
Planning, supply and setup
Requirements survey, network plan, model selection, procurement through our distribution, pre-configuration and installation on site. We plan and coordinate the structured cabling as well.
Operations and maintenance
Monitoring, firmware updates, changes to the rule set, documentation and support under a maintenance contract. On request we take over existing Juniper environments.
From survey
to operations.
A typical sequence for new builds and modernisation. We migrate existing networks during live operations.
- Step 1
Survey
Record sites, users, applications, protection needs and existing technology.
- Step 2
Network plan
Segmentation, firewall rules, switch topology, Wi-Fi site survey and model selection.
- Step 3
Supply and installation
Procure, pre-configure, mount and commission the devices; plan, coordinate and accept the cabling.
- Step 4
Acceptance
Functional and security tests, documentation, training for your administrators.
- After that
Operations
Monitoring, updates and changes under the maintenance contract.
Frequently asked questions
about HPE Juniper Networking.
What changed when HPE acquired Juniper?
Juniper Networks has been part of Hewlett Packard Enterprise since 2025 and operates as HPE Juniper Networking. The SRX, EX and Mist product families and the Junos operating system remain, as do support and licences. Nothing changes for you in daily operations.
Can you replace our existing network from another vendor?
Yes. We record the existing configuration, transfer rule set and segmentation to Juniper and migrate site by site so that operations continue.
Are there data sheets for the models?
Yes, for every model in the SRX, EX and Mist families. We compile the relevant data sheets with our quote, matched to your requirements.
Is Juniper suitable for a small company as well?
The families range from small sites to the data centre. For one site with a handful of workplaces, an SRX firewall, an EX switch and one or two Mist access points are often enough.
Do you take over operations after the installation?
Yes, as part of a maintenance contract: monitoring, firmware, rule set, changes and documentation, with named contacts and service hours Mon to Fri, 9 am to 5 pm.
