IT strategy
on a reliable basis.
Our IT consulting in Berlin does not reach for all-in packages: we look at systems, processes and goals as a whole and turn them into an IT strategy that fits the budget and daily business of mid-sized companies and enterprises, on request through to project management during delivery.
From analysis
to decision.
IT inventory
We record systems, contracts, licences, dependencies and risks and record the actual operating state, including where the documentation differs.
Goals and requirements
Conversations with management and business units, so that IT planning is aligned with your company goals.
Target architecture
A picture of how infrastructure and virtualisation (Citrix Hypervisor, VMware), Microsoft 365, security and business applications should work together in future, including the reasoning.
Roadmap and budget
Measures prioritised, with effort, sequence and dependencies. You can identify which measures take priority and which can follow later.
Licensing and contract advice
Review of licensing models, maintenance contracts and supplier contracts for fit and cost.
IT project management
Project leadership for migrations, rollouts and provider changes: planning, steering, budget and schedule control, acceptance. On request also as external project management when another provider delivers.
From the first question
to a decision paper.
A typical sequence for organisations with 20 to 500 workplaces. Scope and duration are agreed together after the inventory.

- Step 2

- Step 3
Assessment
Sort risks, gaps and opportunities, align first recommendations.
- Step 4

Measures, sequence, effort and budget in a decision paper.
- Step 5
Delivery and project management
Project start with us as project managers, support for your IT or handover to your team.
Consulting
that leads to decisions.
Anonymised project examples from our work: an order handling process that was mapped as a business process, simplified and implemented with the existing systems, a well-founded decision for the cloud followed by the migration, and a security hardening after an IT security infrastructure check. All examples with starting point, approach and result are on the project examples page.
Frequently asked questions
about IT consulting.
Do you work vendor-neutral?
Yes. We are partners of several manufacturers, but we recommend what fits your situation. Where a recommendation is tied to a partner status, we say so openly.
We have our own IT department. Is consulting still worthwhile?
Often yes. Internal teams know the systems best, but rarely have time for architecture and budget work. We add capacity and an outside perspective without taking over responsibility.
What does an IT inventory cost?
The effort is determined individually according to scope and company size. After the initial consultation you receive a quotation as the basis for your decision.
Do you deliver the roadmap yourselves as well?
Yes. You can deliver the roadmap with us or with your existing service provider. The recommendation stands regardless of who carries it out.
Do you also take on project management alone when another provider delivers?
Yes. As external project managers we steer the project, keep schedule and budget in view and support the acceptance. We work vendor-neutral and represent your interests towards the delivering provider.
The next step starts with a conversation.
The initial consultation is without obligation.
