conhIT 2017 - Connecting Healthcare IT is the leading European event for health IT services. New developments allow for the ability to integrate external writing services which prevents bottlenecks which can cause disruptive restrictions to productivity. Also, a new module introduced in the new version implements incoming dictations using background voice recognition. The recognized text is immediately provided as text.
Speech recognition is now much easier on existing IT infrastructure due to the higher rate of speech recognition within a PC, XenApp or Windows Terminal environment. Text can be written into text field without having to be integrated separately once recognized.
New mobile ProDictate solutions for iPhone allow transfers directly from mobile devices to ProDictate software via http or https, where they are stored directly in the writing pool for further central processing. Along with voice recognition, dictation can also be recognized and written as text automatically in the background.
