Devacon GmbH participated in the health fair E-Health France. The event, held in Paris from 18 to 20 October 2017, focused on innovative medical technologies. Among other things, there was a presentation event on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) and the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which formed a cooperation platform for potential business partners.

The possibilities in many areas parallels to the French medicine market on. Only 20 percent of the patients leave the hospital with a discharge letter, which in part leads to problems with further treatment. Through a nationwide introduction of speech recognition in hospitals, the expenditure for the creation of discharge letters could be considerably reduced and the doctor could be relieved. Starting in 2018, legal requirements are to be implemented in order to guarantee that a patient leaves the hospital with a discharge letter - otherwise high fines are threatened.

Within the scope of the event, we were able to hold numerous discussions with representatives from various healthcare sectors, which signaled the great interest in the recognition of speech. We will shortly be carrying out the first production of the technology in France.
